Lenggong Valley was gazetted as a Unesco World Heritage Site in 2012. Today, visitors are able to explore the history and mysteries of Lenggong in an integrated indoor and outdoor exhibition. Lenggong Valley Visitor Centre takes visitors on a journey from the beginning of prehistoric events 70,000 years ago to the discovery of the Kota Tampan archaeological site. Pay homage to the Perak Man, step into excavation trenches, and discover why stone workshops were abandoned after a volcanic eruption. Just as the river ebbed and flowed over time to find its most suitable course, the gallery's design aims to personify its progressive nature alongside an enriching experience of archaeology.
